Mr. Wells has a Masters Degree in Architecture from The University of Minnesota. He owns a Residential Design firm in Minneapolis. Mr. Wells founded the UNIA to work with The City of Minneapolis, The University of Minnesota, and The Alliance, to solve the issues and challenges in the University District. Mr. Wells wants to see stakeholders fairly and equally represented, he believes progress can only be achieved by working together.

Mr. Harmsen owns Dinkytown Rentals with his wife Karen. They provide over 800 UofM students with affordable housing within walking distance of campus. Tim and Karen own 50 properties in the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood.Mr. Harmsen was elected President of the organization for his skills as a positive diplomat.

If you live East of 35W your polling location is University Lutheran Church of Hope, 601 13th Avenue SE (near University Technology Center).

If you live West of 35W your polling location is First Congregational Church, 500 8th Avenue SE.

To vote on Election Day you will need to bring to the polls:

1) a U of M student ID or drivers license, AND...

2) a current utility bill, cell phone bill or cable bill showing your current address... dated between now and October 4th (sorry a lease does not work, it must be a current utility bill).
