UNIA VISION

The UNIA has a vision for inclusive neighborhood associations and inclusive planning processes. We believe that to improve the University District we must all work together and sit at the table as equals, to solve the common challenges we all face. Our group speaks to the issues and concerns of Off-Campus Student Housing Providers, Greeks, Student-Tenants and Business Owners.

UNIA is comprised of hundreds of Non-Resident Property Owners in the University District. But, the group is open to anyone, including, but not limited to: for-profit and non-profit student housing providers, student residents, homeowners, University Staff, Greeks and Business Owners. When combined, the group owns over a billion dollars of real estate in the University District and provides thousands of units of affordable housing. If you own a business or rental property around the University of Minnesota, you are strongly encouraged to contact our leadership and join UNIA.
